Rutherford County is located in the foothills of North Carolina approximately one hour from Asheville, Charlotte, Hickory and Greenville/Spartanburg, SC. The county has tremendous growth opportunity in the Retail Trade Area of Rutherfordton, Spindale and Forest City. A large percentage of residents shop in the four metro areas located within an hour of Rutherford County.
